IHG GREEN ENGAGE™ SYSTEM

Environmental protection and sustainability have not just been an issue for us since the climate change controversy in the media. At Crowne Plaza Berlin City Centre, we have long been working with all other IHG hotels to better implement sustainable action for nature and even better social interaction. With the IHG Green Engage™ system, a sustainability program of the InterContinental Hotels Group, we measure the impact of our hotel on the environment. We are constantly implementing new measures to ensure that all future generations will enjoy living in their surroundings with a clear conscience.

Our hotel has over 200 measures and solutions at its disposal for even better environmental protection. For example, we are reducing our electricity and water consumption and producing less waste. Of course, our measures are also monitored. We only receive the IHG® Green Engage certification after an analysis and the successful implementation of all measures. The sustainability monitoring system comprises four possible certification levels.
